Upcoming Performance!
Saturday, June 13, 2026

Anjali – A Tribute is the signature annual presentation of Canada’s National School for Indian Dances (CNSID), a professionally curated cultural production that celebrates the richness, beauty, and spiritual depth of Indian classical dance traditions.
Presented each year as a landmark artistic event, Anjali brings together accomplished performers, emerging dancers, and distinguished guest artists in an evening dedicated to artistic excellence, cultural storytelling, and heritage preservation.
The 2026 edition of Anjali presents the theme:
Ghungroo – The Soul of Rhythm
This year’s production explores the meaning, history, and sacred significance of ghungroos—the ankle bells that symbolize rhythm, devotion, discipline, and the dancer’s bond with movement. Through powerful choreography and storytelling, the performance will illuminate how ghungroos are not merely ornaments, but the heartbeat of Indian classical dance.
Featuring Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, and other Indian classical dance forms, the evening will offer audiences an immersive journey through rhythm, expression, tradition, and artistic mastery.
